As the first light of day broke over the Eastern Tennessee skies, I made my way to the Three Ridges Golf Course. I had heard rumors of its breathtaking beauty, and I was excited to capture it from a unique perspective - through the lens of my drone.
As I walked the fairways, the cool fall air tingled my nose and the damp dew underfoot made my shoes wet. The trees were ablaze with shades of oranges, yellows, and reds, making the scenery even more spectacular. The rich aroma of wood smoke mixed with the freshness of the dew-covered grass, it was an inviting atmosphere.
The Three Ridges Golf Course was built in the 1920s, and its history was etched into every bend and curve of the greens and fairways. I felt like I could sense the presence of all the golfers who had played here before me.
I set up my drone, my hands steady as I turned it on and launched it into the sky. The drone's hum filled the air as it lifted off, and I felt a rush of excitement as it soared higher and higher. In the distance, I could see House Mountain, an ancient granite monadnock that has stood for thousands of years.
As the drone flew, the entire golf course was laid out before me. The view was awe-inspiring - the vast expanse of the greens and fairways, the vibrant colors of the trees, and House Mountain standing majestically in the background, a symbol of the region's natural beauty.
The sound of the drone's wings slicing through the air, the whir of its motors, and the clicking of my camera as it captured the images, all filled my ears. The cool air was refreshing as it blew on my face and the aroma of freshly cut grass filled my nostrils. I felt privileged to witness such splendor and I knew that this would be a day to remember.
As the drone landed, I packed up my gear and walked away from the course, feeling accomplished and fulfilled. I couldn't wait to come back and experience this incredible place again.
