As the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, I eagerly made my way to Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. I had heard that the view from the top of the cliff on which the lighthouse stood was breathtaking, and I was determined to capture it on film.
As I approached the lighthouse, the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks below grew louder and the salty sea air filled my nostrils. I could barely make out the outline of the lighthouse against the darkening sky, but I knew I was getting close.
I scrambled up the rocky path, my heart racing with excitement. As I reached the top of the cliff, the full majesty of the lighthouse was revealed to me. It stood tall and proud, a beacon of light guiding ships safely to shore.
I set up my camera and began snapping away, capturing the beauty of the lighthouse against the star-studded sky. The Milky Way stretched out above me, a celestial river of light and wonder.
As the night wore on, I lost track of time. I was lost in the magic of the moment, captured by the beauty of the lighthouse and the endless expanse of the sky.
As dawn approached, I packed up my camera and made my way back down the cliff, feeling grateful and alive. I knew that the photographs I had taken that night would be treasured memories for years to come.
