Could the stones of Caesarea speak of the past while whispering truths into the present? Amidst the Mediterranean's embrace, I sought echoes of ancient sermons in the sea air. My camera was my scribe, the ruins, my scripture.
I walked the paths where apostles might have trod, where history was shaped by the hands of Herod and trodden by saints of old. The amphitheater, now silent, once reverberated with the voices of the past. The aqueduct, a marvel of ancient engineering, still stood, a testament to ingenuity bridging time and tide.
Being an international photographer is more than capturing images; it's capturing the essence of history, the flavor of bygone days. Here, where Cornelius received his vision, as recounted in Acts 10, I found my canvas.
The sun cast a golden glow over the stones, the sky met the sea, and the spirit of the place enveloped me. The salty breeze, the distant call of a gull, and the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore—a symphony of nature and history.
The experience of photographing Caesarea Maritima was more than an assignment; it was a pilgrimage. As I framed the ancient port in my viewfinder, I felt immersed in the land's enduring narrative, where every grain of sand held a story waiting to be told.
