"Is it possible to hear God's whisper in the roar of a waterfall?"
In the midst of autumn, I found myself in Park City, Utah, with a heart full of anticipation to photograph the splendor of Gloria Falls. The journey was a sensory symphony: the sight of leaves ablaze with color, the taste of the crisp mountain air, the crunch of fallen foliage underfoot, and the earthy scent of the damp forest floor.
Long exposure photography, my means of capturing the cascading grace of the falls, demanded a dance with light and shadow. Amid the bright midday sun, I battled the harsh reflections and the fast-moving waters, seeking to still the scene into a smooth, ethereal veil.
The roar of the falls was like a hymn, speaking of the Creator's majesty and power. As I set up my tripod, my fingers numb with the autumn chill, I felt a deep connection to this place. With each click, I wasn't just capturing an image; I was capturing a moment of divine beauty, a testament to the serene and enduring artistry of creation.
There, in the presence of Gloria Falls, I experienced a dream fulfilled. The photograph I took was more than a visual keepsake; it was a sacred encounter, an eternal moment when heaven and earth seemed to embrace under the watchful eye of God.
