I woke up before the sun rose on a crisp autumn morning in Knoxville, Tennessee, determined to capture the beauty of the city's historic Bijou Theater at sunrise. As I set up my drone and prepared for takeoff, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation.
The air was cool and fresh, filled with the scent of fallen leaves and the faint smell of coffee from the nearby cafe. I took a deep breath and launched my drone into the sky, soaring above the capital building and Gay Street bridge as the first hints of dawn began to appear on the horizon.
As the drone ascended higher, the city came into focus below me, the streets and buildings cast in a soft, golden light. I flew towards the Bijou Theater. Built in the late 1800s, the Bijou is one of Knoxville's most iconic landmarks, and I knew that catching it at sunrise would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
As the sun crested the horizon, I maneuvered the drone closer to the theater, the cool morning breeze tickling my face as I snapped shot after shot. The Bijou was breathtaking at this hour, the warm glow of the rising sun highlighting its intricate details and elegant architecture.
I continued to fly around the theater, capturing different angles and perspectives, the drone's cameras clicking away as I snapped pictures from every possible angle. The experience was truly unforgettable, and I knew that these photos would be a treasured memory for years to come.
As the sun rose higher in the sky, I reluctantly brought the drone back down to earth, feeling grateful and inspired by the beauty and history of the Bijou Theater and the city of Knoxville.
