It was an overcast day when I set out to photograph the Covesea Skerries Lighthouse in northern Scotland. The sky was grey and moody, and a gentle breeze blew in off the sea.

As I made my way down to the shore, the lighthouse came into view. It was a beautiful and imposing structure, standing tall and proud against the grey sky.

I set up my tripod and camera, and began to take photos of the lighthouse. The overcast sky lent a sense of mystery and drama to the scene, and I was captivated by the beauty of the rugged landscape around me.

The sea was rough and choppy, and the waves crashed against the shore with a ferocity that was both thrilling and daunting. I continued to snap photos, capturing the lighthouse from every angle, trying to capture its majesty and power.

As the day wore on, the sky grew darker and more ominous. The wind picked up, whipping the waves into a frenzy and making it difficult to keep my footing on the rocky shore. I knew I needed to wrap up my photo shoot and get to safety, but I was determined to capture just a few more shots of the lighthouse before I left.

I set up my camera and focused on the lighthouse, trying to capture its majesty and power against the darkening sky. The wind howled and the waves crashed, and I could feel the power of the storm brewing around me.

Suddenly, a massive wave crashed against the shore, drenching me and knocking me off balance. I stumbled and fell, and my camera went tumbling into the sea. I scrambled to my feet and ran for higher ground, my heart pounding with fear and excitement.

I made it to safety, but my camera was lost to the sea. It was a small price to pay for the adventure and the memories of photographing the Covesea Skerries Lighthouse on such a wild and dangerous day.
